Svaroopa® Yoga

Drop-In Sessions are good for 2 months from purchase.

Class passes:

5 Class Pass is good for 2 months from first class visit.
10 Class Pass is good for 4 months from first class visit.
20 Class Pass is good for 6 months from first class visit.

Class pass auto-renew:

Auto-renew will automatically renew your class pass at the end of your pass or when it expires.  The expiration stays the same for the class passes.


HOURS:

All sessions are by appointment only. 

BOOKING  POLICY:

Online booking must be done 6 hours in advance to guarentee a session.  Please call if it is within 6 hours.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you cancel at least 6 hours ahead of time (early cancel) you will not be charged. However, if you cancel less than 6 hours ahead of time, you will be charged for the class, unless you have an emergency OR unless you are sick with something that might be contagious to others. If either of these situations arises, email or call 978.692.2100 prior to the start of the class. She can credit your account for emergency situations. This includes if you suddenly get sick… we do not want you coming to class if you might be contagious or if you are coughing and sneezing a lot!


How does Svaroopa® yoga differ from other styles of yoga?

Many styles of yoga either advocate or inadvertently bring about the tightening of the muscles surrounding the spine in order to accomplish the "perfect" pose. In contrast,Svaroopa® yoga emphasizes relaxing the spinal muscles. In other words, it emphasizes proper alignment for the sake of release. Instead of tightening muscles to achieve alignment, students use props to support their bodies in the proper alignment that provides maximum release. Often students who have had difficulty with other yoga classes find that they enjoy Svaroopa® yoga classes because of the use of props and the emphasis on releasing, rather than tightening, muscles. Additionally, reducing muscle tension reduces life's tensions.
